Cozy Evening

Oil on Canvas 20 × 16 in (51 × 41 cm)

After an afternoon of tennis training, Ticiano often heads into the woods surrounding his home with a paint box and a canvas. On this particular evening, the fading sunlight filtered through the trees, transforming an ordinary forest path into a scene filled with warmth, movement, and life.

In Cozy Evening, light dances across the forest floor while tall tree trunks create a gentle rhythm throughout the composition. The painting captures a fleeting moment when the woods seem alive with energy, yet remain completely at peace. Subtle shifts of color and atmosphere invite the viewer to step into the scene and experience the quiet beauty of the forest firsthand.

Rather than focusing on detail alone, Ticiano seeks to paint the feeling of a place. The result is a work that celebrates light, presence, and the simple wonder of being surrounded by nature.
